I love stories about people that go into nature and learn about themselves while beating self-doubt and perceived physical limitations.  This story is about a married couple from Florida who decided to hike the Appalachian Trail after watching the PBS documentary Appalachian Impressions.
Neither had ever hiked for more than one day at a time and they set off to hike for six months to complete the 2000 plus miles of the trail.  Congratulations to the Hencoskis for a job well done.
