Here’s a hiking tip for this wonderful Friday: Always let someone know where you’re going and when you’ll be back.  If you’re like me you don’t like people keeping up with you and love the freedom of coming and going as you please, but for our own safety it’s worth telling someone.  If you don’t think this is important read Aron Ralston’s book.
